Raising Hands in Class

Principal

My name is Jennifer Fischer, and I am the principal at St. Mary School and Preschool.  I have two children, one who is a current student at St. Mary's and the other an alumnus of St. Mary's who is a current student at Central Catholic High School.  I am a parishioner at St. Mary's Church and have been a St. Mary's School parent for many years.  My husband, David, is a graduate of St. Mary's and is currently the Superintendent of Sandy Valley Local Schools.

Prior to joining the team at St. Mary's, I served most recently as the Executive Director and COO of the Massillon Digital Academy in the Massillon City School district. I have also served as the Assistant Director of the East Canton Digital Academy, as well as eLlearning coordinator of the Perry Local School District. I have prior teaching and leadership experience in the Osnaburg and Plain Local School Districts.  However, my first teaching experience was with Wagener-Salley High School in Aiken, South Carolina.
